Coenzyme Q10

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a coenzyme (vitamin-like substance) that is present in almost every cell in the body, especially in organs with high energy demands, such as the heart, liver, and kidneys. It helps convert the energy from food into adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is the main energy source for cellular processes. CoQ10 does this by helping to transfer electrons in the electron transport chain.
