L-selenomethionine

L-selenomethionine is a naturally occurring amino acid that contains selenium, an essential trace mineral. Unlike other forms of selenium, L-selenomethionine is easily absorbed by the body and efficiently utilized.

Selenium contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, maintenance of normal nails, normal function of the immune system, normal thyroid function and protection of cells from oxidative stress.
