D-biotin

D-biotin is a synthetic form of biotin, also known as vitamin B7 or vitamin H. Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin that belongs to the B-complex family and is an essential nutrient, meaning that our bodies cannot produce it and must be obtained through diet or supplementation. D-biotin is not as biologically active as L-biotin, which is the natural form of biotin. However, D-biotin is more resistant to degradation than biotin and is more easily absorbed by the intestines.
