Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3)

Cholecalciferol, also known as vitamin D3, is one of three forms of fat-soluble vitamin D, along with vitamin D1 and D2. Vitamin D3 is the most common form of vitamin D and the most biologically active. It is synthesized in the skin when exposed to sunlight and can also be obtained from animal-based foods.
