1. Hormonal activity
Vitamin B6 contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity, while pantothenic acid contributes to normal synthesis and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D and some neurotransmitters. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood.

2. Energy
Riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

3. Immune system and cell function
Vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin E and riboflavin contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

4. Psychological and cognitive functions
Thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, biotin and vitamin B12 contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system. Thiamin, niacin, vitamin B6, biotin and vitamin B12 also contribute to normal psychological function, and pantothenic acid contributes to normal mental performance. 6. Fertility and reproduction
Zinc contributes to normal fertility and reproduction. Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status; low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. The target group is women of childbearing age. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 400 µg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception. Riboflavin, niacin and biotin contribute to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes.

7. Metabolism and liver function
Thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, biotin and vitamin B12 contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism. Vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism, while biotin contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism. 8. Gut and digestion
Riboflavin contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes, and calcium contributes to the normal function of digestive enzymes.

9. Menstruation
Iron contributes to normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin. Vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 also contribute to normal red blood cell formation, and riboflavin contributes to the maintenance of normal red blood cells. Vitamin C increases iron absorption, and vitamin A, together with riboflavin, contributes to normal iron metabolism.
